I would like to send and receive IEEE 802.15.4 compliant packages in a very simple way (no ACK, no routing, just raw data transmitted). For the simplicity of the task at hand I would not prefer using the pre-compiled IEEE 802.15.4 library , nor

RE: Adjusting the radio examples to be compliant with IEEE 802.15.4

HI,I have used this openwsn-nrf52840DK project, and I have some questions about this project. In the file (openwsn-fw_FW881/bsp/boards/uart.c),why you did not use app_uart_init() function to initiate the UART and configure the UART by GPIO. I also want to know how to configure UART1 to receive the data from my board.

RE: Adjusting the radio examples to be compliant with IEEE 802.15.4

Hi Pietro,

last year I worked on a Nordic nRF52840 port of OpenWSN. Although it had some bugs, the 802.15.4 radio part worked kind of well. You will find the source for the radio initialization here: https://github.com/tharczos/openwsn-fw_FW-751/blob/develop/bsp/boards/nrf52840/radio.c , maybe it helps.

Can you better explain how to modify the Radio Trasmitter example and the Radio Receiver example?

If I have correctly understood, the linked post is treating only the trasmitter. What about the receiver? I am currently able to transmit with 802.15.4 only changing the "NRF_RADIO->MODE" in "RADIO_MODE_MODE_Ieee802154_250Kbit", but I am not sure that it is the correct way to implement it.

Thanks

RE: Adjusting the radio examples to be compliant with IEEE 802.15.4

HI Tamas,

I apologize for the slow response.

You could take a look at this answer, there should be some attached code that sends 802.15.4 compliant packets using the RADIO registers directly.

Best regards
