As you know windows 7 does not have native support for BLE, so it is entirely up to the vendor of the ble solution you are running on your windows machine to provide this functionality. I am afraid there is not much we can do if the CSR dongle you are testing with doesn't have proper HID support. Unfortunately, the log you provided did not help as the traffic was not decrypted. I assume MITM protection is on, which means the sniffer cannot decrypt.

I think Nordic can make a test for this problem that is very easy to be found. I am very curious that why other BLE 4.0 keyboard can be used in win7 but Nordic Keyboard. According to your advice, I use the sniffer dongle to check the Bluetooth connection process. The test file is in the attachment. I hope Nordic can help me solve this problem. Thanks !

Could be that the driver do not understand our report map, do you have a sniffer trace that shows what is happening when you try to connect to the nordic sdk HID device. Note that the HID interface is most likely the same our most SDK revisions so I would expect the behavior to be similar in that sense.

Thank you for your answer. I do use BLE4.0 keyboard and mouse in win7 computer and they work well. So I think the win7 computer has right driver for BLE4.0 HID device. By the way, I also use the CSR4.0 dongle and its driver for win7. Those BLE4.0 keyboard and mouse also work well.

Actually, I use "nRF5_SDK_15.0.0" for nRF52832 test at the beginning . Then I use other SDK for test too. But they have the same problem.

Win7 does not have native support for BLE, so you need to install a driver for this to work with a BEL HID keyboard. Are you sure the other keyboard you are testing is the bluetooth low energy keyboard? And what drivers are you using?

Also note that if you are just starting to use the nrf52832 for development I would recommend you use our latest sdk, v15.
