&lt;p&gt;The best workaround is probably to start using &lt;a href="https://www.segger.com/downloads/embedded-studio"&gt;Segger Embedded Studio&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;(SES) and port the examples. &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/News/News-releases/Product-Related-News/Nordic-Semiconductor-adds-Embedded-Studio-IDE-support-for-nRF51-and-nRF52-SoC-development/(language)/eng-GB"&gt;As of last October&lt;/a&gt;,&amp;nbsp;SES is free to use&amp;nbsp;with Nordic&amp;#39;s SoCs. Unfortunately, it is summer holidays here in Norway and we are short on staff, so I don&amp;#39;t have time to update the examples myself.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
