Ok just found out that it's the SerProxy I have to use to forward my Windows-Serial-Port to Linux over ethernet because otherwise I'm getting these annoying Timeout issues for the serial example and serial dfu does not work at all.

But by now I can use my Android-App for scanning or verifying the UUID.

It would be great if your toolchain and scripts would be fully supported and tested under Linux.

Hmm,

Should it be again the difference between Linux machine and Windows machine ? on my computer it still:

I'm using python v3.6.2, testing with SDK v2.1.0 (should be the same as v2.1.1)

Have you tried on the light switch client example instead of the DFU example?

Hi Hung,

as this device will not go into production but will stay a dev-device:
This is the complete UUID shown by the python script 3aca9665b1fd25c4f6eeccf100941bc7

But it should be (or is in fact): 3aca9665b1fd25c4f6eeccf10a941bc7

So there is something wrong with the 0x0a byte (New Line in ASCII). Maybe it is escaped even though it should not?

Hi Andrej,

Could you give me an UUID that show the error ? I suspect there could be smth wrong with the python script. But I couldn't reproduce here using F10A941BC7 surfix as in your case. You or me can convert this case to private case if needed.
