I found a related entry in our issue tracker and it seems to be introduced in SDK 15.0.0. Hopefully it will be fixed for next release.

I found another confusing parameter

uint32_t ble_adv_directed_timeout; /**< Time-out (number of tries) for direct advertising. */

In fact; Not the number of tries but a multiple of 10ms

Hi,

You use an invalid value for init.config.ble_adv_directed_interval. Valid range is 0x0020 to 0x4000. See ble_gap_adv_params_t::interval. (The value 0 is for fast directed advertising, while normal directed advertising requires an interval in that range.)

So, I have been try much setting in advertising_init() but no fix it .

Hi,

Can you do a debug session with breakpoints in ble_advertising.c, on lines 651 and 657 (both should be "return ret"), in order to figure out which of the two calls sd_ble_gap_adv_set_configure() and sd_ble_gap_adv_start() returns NRF_ERROR_INVALID_PARAM?
