&lt;p&gt;The SDS document is correct, which means the S110 v8.0 or earlier supports Bluetooth 4.1 only.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you want Bluetooth 4.2 support on the nRF51822 you would have to use the S130 SoftDevice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do you have a link to the page where it states Bluetooth 4.2 support for the S110?&lt;br /&gt;I can request to have this corrected, so that the information is consistent.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
