disregard my statement about the LFXO, I can clearly see it on my PCA10059, labeled X2.

Maybe you forgot to reset the device after programming?

nrf52840 dongle do not have LFXO?

However, The same code works when I use JLINK to upload same firmware

Hmm my first guess was that that you tried to start the LFXO who's not present on the dongle, then you would be stuck in that loop.

and....use DFU to upload this firmware again(no any code change), everything works ok!!
