&lt;p&gt;Yes. This applies to big brother too.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can see in the &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.nrf52840.ps%2Fpower.html&amp;amp;anchor=concept_res_behav" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"&gt;table for &amp;quot;reset behavior&amp;quot; on infocenter&lt;/a&gt; that the GPIOs are reset on every type of reset except for wakeup from system off.&lt;/p&gt;
