As there is no issues running the examples on the nRF51 DK, I would assume the issue is with your custom board.

There is a lot of Q&A's on devzone regarding issues with running SDK examples on a custom board. I would suggest that you take a look around.

Maybe adding some more information about your custom board will help make sense of why the example isn't working for you.

The custom board which I am working on has a serial input port, therefore I am using a PCA10040 board to flash it. I can detect the chip using the nrfgo studio, so I don't think I did any mistake in that, but I wanted you to have a full idea of the framework on which I am working on.

I am using Keil to compile the examples. To answer your questions, yes, I am using the HRS example provided in SDK v12.3. And when I try to debug, I see that the PC is stuck at the memory location 0xFFFFFFFE. Do you think that I am having problems because I am using a custom board with nrf51822 chip?

Hi Atul.

That sounds strange. I have no issue with the HRS example in SDK v.12.3.0.

Are you using the HRS example provided in SDK v.12.3.0? Or are you trying to use the HRS example from SDK 11 with SDK v12.3.0?

Have you tried debugging to see if you can get any hints to what might be the issue?
