&lt;p&gt;I am not sure it will work, but you can try changing the HID descriptor (you can see the Gamepad HID descriptor for example on line 2 in &lt;a href="https://stackoverflow.com/questions/41147796/hid-gamepad-report-descriptor-issue"&gt;this thread&lt;/a&gt;).
