These symbols are most likely generated through macros.
What is the value of BLE_NUS_CONFIG_LOG_ENABLED in your sdk_config.h?
If it is 1, try to set it to zero

I tried to find the symbols in ble_nus and ble_nus_c but such symbols are not at all defined.

Hi,

I have not checked your code, but from the error messages seems that both Central and Peripheral version of the NUS service has same definitions of some symbols.

It might be enough with some tweaks inside the sdk_config.h (seems something related to nrf_log). If not possbile, then you might need to ifdef out one of the symbol variants yourself within the ble_nus or ble_nus_c.

P.S. I am new with nRF SDK too, but trying to help here ;)
