I have question about compiler of nRF5_SDK_V12.3. I compile the example BLE_peripheral\experimental_ble_app_blinky by gnu arm(latest version). It can work on nRF51 DK board. but when i download it to ISP130301. It couldn't work. the ISP130301

RE: nRF5 SDK V12.3 compiler problem

Hi bojorn-spockeli:

i use ozone to debug the compile code. i set the break point at main(). then select debug ->download and reset target .but it couldn't stop at the breakpoint. how can i do in next step?

I review the schematic of this module. Then i find that the chip of module is nrf51822xxaa, but the chip of example for SDK is nrf5151422xxac. i check the datasheet. the aa chip only have 16k RAM. but ac chip have 32k ram. should i change the ld file about the example. could you give me some suggestion?

Thank you!

RE: nRF5 SDK V12.3 compiler problem

HI Li,

note that SDK v12.3.0 uses GCC ARM Embedded 4.9 2015q3, see nRF5 SDK v12.3.0 for the release notes.

If downgrading your GCC version does not work, then try using Segger Ozone to debug the compiled code.

Best regards
