Hi Jonnavittula,

That should be possible, but then you would need to have a custom bootloader already on the chip.

You could for example run through a script that handles the separate handling of DFU over UART.

I must create the package containing softdevice,application,bootloader+bootloader settings page and the update package over UART. Cant I program individual .hex files one after other through UART?

Sorry, I misread your first post.

That should not be a problem, you just have to generate the DFU packages for what you want to program over UART.

Hi,

So the nrfjprog only works through jlink debugger. Can't I program any flash region I like through UART?

Please take a look at the documentation for nRF5x Command Line Tools, especially "Programming nRF5x SoCs with nrfjprog".
