FWIW, I'm using iOS7.0.3 on an iPhone 5 with the latest SDK and nRF UART without any issues for a few weeks now and it's quite stable. only issue with it is it only connects to one BLE device and doesn't present a menu to select if you have a few (anyone sees differently?).

try the ble_app_uart.zip I posted above, it used SDK4.4.

I attach the ble_app_uart_code I'm using. it was built using SDK 4.4 and has two changes: 1) use the connection timeout (MAX/MIN_CONN_INTERVAL) recommended for iOS on this or a similar thread and 2) added some code enabled by LOOPBACK define during build to echo the message received from the normal UART back to the ble_UART. this enables an easy quick check that all is working, the normal UART to/from ble_UART also works fine for me.

hope it helps

I don't recollect changing anything, but suddenly I have no hole through any of this.
Thanks for the dev zone fix version of the UART firmware .. it worked well for a little while - except the iOS7 could not transmit to it.

My firmware based on the UART (on my own nRF51822 design board) worked until this morning, two ways, then "something happened". I have gone back to earlier working versions, I have reinstalled latest nRF51 SDK etc. No go. I then reinstalled nRF UART 2.0 on my Nexus 4, which has worked brilliantly so far. That caused nRF UART (on Android) to report that the device does not support UART, disconnecting. I flashed the app into 15 boards two days ago, they can't connect to the Android app either, now. The iOS7 can as usual receive from them, but not transmit.

This is madmaking... any experience, fixes, anything???!?!?!
