I'm sorry, but I only have knowledge about Nordic Semiconductor devices.

If you want to create a mobile application to connect to the RN4871, you might want to check out Microchip's forum, or maybe an android forum.

Hello,

I am currently using nRF Sniffer to try to detect the BLE as a Beacon. But to receive the Data, I've developed my own mobile application (Java).

The application does work (I receive data from the BLE) but when I kill it, it stops getting data. That's why I want to use a Beacon to awake my application, and then always be able to receive data.

I'm using RN4871 for the BLE & Samsung Galaxy S7 for the smartphone.

Is this application one that you developed yourself, or are you using one of the Nordic mobile apps?
Also, which smartphone are you working with?

I do think this is possible, depending on which phone you are using.

When you provide some more detailes I'll contact our our mobile developers and ask for some assistance from them.
