when trying https://github.com/NordicSemiconductor/IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library everything goes OK (I think...) all the nodes gets provisioned, all the elements gets addresses, there are keys and so on... everything seems to be in place, next step should

RE: IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library publishing / subscribing configuration and firmware version

Hi!

Well, at the same time that I got this answer Nordic did a new release of the Mesh SDK that includes Generic On Off model already, so I didnt had the pleasure to try this solution.

In any case, now we can use the app and provision the nRF52 dev boards using the light switch proxy examples... which is nice. Thanks!

RE: IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library publishing / subscribing configuration and firmware version

PM Bubblynet Was the reply from Jackes5 helpful?

Or do you still have problems using the nRF Mesh app with the SDK?

I had to change the definitions of all headers for simple_on_off_(client/server/common), take a look at the files in the zip, they are the headers changed.

So, I cant provision the SDK for mesh with the app... apparently the models used for the app (and Thingy) (ie generic_on_off) are not the same as the ones used on the SDK for mesh (ie simple_on_off)...

So I am trying to migrate the generic_on_off model from Thingy source code to the SDK for Mesh... I got it running for the Client / Switch I think... I can compile, flash and provision it with the app... but I am not so lucky doing it on the Server...

So thats where I am at the moment... if you have any info... reaallly appreciate it... ;)

RE: IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library publishing / subscribing configuration and firmware version

Hi.

That example is made for the Thingy:52, so that will most likely not work on the nRF52 DK.

If you want to test this using the nRF52 DK, I suggest you use the Latest SDK for Mesh, and the light switch proxy client & proxy server examples if you want to provision by phone. You can use the video as a guide to how to use the nRF Mesh app.

Best regards.

Thanks! I already checked that one, but these doesnt seem to work on the nRF52 dev boards...? I assume that element 1 on the client is button 1 and server element is the LED 1 right?? I tried with both, the app on the appstore and pulling the latest version and building it on another device... but no luck with any.... 😞

RE: IOS-nRF-Mesh-Library publishing / subscribing configuration and firmware version

Hi.
