I did figure out that both of them are working, but now I am stuck up at how to practically test if the proximity profile is working!
For a matter of fact I think both of these chips do have a proximity profile

RE: I am facing problem in experimentally testing the Proximity Profile!

If you only need BLE, buy nRF51822, if you may be using ANT, but nRF51422, see this question for more info.

As suggested by you, I did go online and had a look at your evaluation boards, but there are nRF51822-EK, nRF51EK422-EK, nRF51422-DK chips.
Kindly suggest which one would work the best for proximity profile experiments!
Thanks in advance.

RE: I am facing problem in experimentally testing the Proximity Profile!

You can purchase Nordic products from these online stores.

RE: I am facing problem in experimentally testing the Proximity Profile!

Thanks a ton for the help. I am willing to buy your evaluation kit, but I wasnt able to find the purchase link on your website. Could you please help me out with it?

In addition you get the nRF Sniffer by which you can view your BTLE packets for learning and debugging.

To test a proximity implementation, you can use the Nordic iOS and Android apps (nRF Proximity/nRF Toolbox), this should give you the required confidence that the proximity application works as expected.

RE: I am facing problem in experimentally testing the Proximity Profile!

Thanks for the reply!
I am ready order the chip that you suggested too, but I really want to know if that can also help me in testing the proximity profile?
If yes, I am ready to order it right away!

RE: I am facing problem in experimentally testing the Proximity Profile!

Nordic Developer Zone aims to be a community for all users of Nordic Semiconductor's chips and devices.
