 In the BR Bluetooth (not BLE) there is a profile called OPP (object push profile) that enbled sending text messages to mobile phone with out the need to install any APP!

&lt;p&gt;There is no such service in BLE, unfortunately.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I believe what you are looking for is a beacon, which we have examples for, but they do require an app. You can look into the &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.sdk5.v15.0.0%2Fble_sdk_app_es.html"&gt;Eddystone beacon application&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;This is a defined beacon protocol which can be used to transmit e.g. URLs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Read about it in the link that I posted. I think this is the closest you get to what you are looking for, but as I said, it requires an app, but only one app for all eddystone beacons (standardized).&lt;/p&gt;
