I just start to use the Thingy 52 and I would like to know if there is any source code for development purpose for Windows. Also, which development software does it support the SDK and is there any configuration and setup manual for the Thingy

RE: Source code and Development kit (SDK) for Windows.

Hi Rick,

I'm developing a mesh network with Thingy 52 and I need to handle the sensors routines that you have in the default Thingy firmware that comes from fabric. Could you point me to the source (not the hex or elf)?. I need to read the sensors to transmit those over the mesh network.

Thanks a lot.

RE: Source code and Development kit (SDK) for Windows.

Hi Marjeris,

I think you should try to go through the Thingy:52 SDK guide I linked above, and you can also take a look at this documentation page where the firmware architecture for the Thingy is explained. If you have any questions about the Thingy firmware I encourage you to post them in a new thread.

You may need to add make to the system path. Search for "Advanced system settings" on Windows start menu, and click on the "Enviroment Variables" button. Look for the system variable listed as "Path", click on it and add the folder path in which you installed make as a new enviroment variable (for example add C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuWin32\bin in Path if make was installed in this folder) .
