As we know that nRF52840 SoC supports Bluetooth 5's 4x Long Range and 2x Data Throughput.
How different PHYs for these features (2 Mbps PHY and 1 Mbps Coded PHY) are integrated with BLE's default 1 Mbps PHY?

My question is regarding the hardware level.

So I am asking regarding integration of all three PHYs on the nRF52840 chip (hardware of nRF52840).

If you have reference document/other links regarding it, please share it.

RE: PHYs Integration in nRF52840

Hi,

There is a phy update procedure in the specification. For Coded phy it is also possible to establish a connection on that phy. Please see our softdevice documentation for details on how to change phy, message sequence chart here.
