The issue is resolved now by changing the timeout parameter to zero but also i had to change the adv flag from BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_LIMITED_DISC_MODE to BLE_GAP_ADV_FLAGS_LE_ONLY_GENERAL_DISC_MODE.

That is a good idea, sure i will try this out.

One question , Can i make this parameter zero instead of 180 seconds to make it never timeout?

Could it be that you have a advertising timeout of 180 seconds (3 minutes), and that the application goes to system_off mode? Please check for places in your code putting the device in system off mode, or calls to reset functions. The application/chip will normally not reset on its own.

Yes, But there are no errors from any function.

The code restarts from main and also it doesn't stop after the reset.

This is happening after every 3 minutes or something

Hi,

Did you try debugging, to see if any functions return an error code?

Resetting the chip is the default recovery method when an error is reported from a function.
