Thank you for confirming that I am using the correct procedure. I think it is also worth noting, although it is common knowledge, always make backups of your work perhaps every day as described above, and keep the backups, because you never know when you might have to go back to a previous version.

You could just create a copy of the project in the \example folder just like Brian does.

What I do is go to the File Explorer and do a copy and paste. For the example below I used ble_app_beacon and made a copy. I always make a copy for a backup, then use the original to work with. If I ever have a FUBAR, I delete the original folder which I am working with, then rename the last copy to the original folder name.
