we would like to flash the nRF52840 thru our Linux processor (not using external flashers), using the SWD lines connected.
OpenOCD library can work? any samples to start? any other ideas/code?

RE: Flash nRF52840 Using SITARA processor (SWD)

Obviously there is no AM5728 driver, but you should be able to use the generic sysfsgpio interface for linux.

Getting OpenOCD to run properly will be an interesting experience anyway.

RE: Flash nRF52840 Using SITARA processor (SWD)

We can only help with the nRF side of the flashing.
the nRF52840 is not the issue,

for our posrpuse, no flash (jlink, or other) will be connected, so we would like to use the ARM base processor (with linux running), to flash the nRF52840.

the nRF52840 SWDIO is connected to GPIOs.

RE: Flash nRF52840 Using SITARA processor (SWD)

OpenOCD supports NRF5x MCUs, but support for nRF52840 variant is not even in the git master tree, yet.
