Unfortunately I do not have permission to run nrfjprog on my work computer. I will try nRFConnect on another PC. Perhaps I have better luck with Windows.

Nope, should work for mac. Download the nRF5x command line tools.

Hi Fredrik,

Could you download nrfjprog & see what happens when you run nrfjprog -i? Also, could you try with a different usb cable? It often happens that there is something wrong with the cable itself & not the nrf52.

So I did the JLink SW update, which was a breeze by the way, but I still have the same problem with nRF Connect. Anything else I can try?

Also, what is the preloaded SW on the nRF52 doing?

Thanks for your reply!

I am running the Bluetooth low energy App v2.2.0 in nRF Connect v2.5.0.

SW9 is in VDD position and SW6 at default, SB40 is not cut. I have two green LEDs on, LED1 and LED5.

Let me try to update the JLink and come back to you.

Hi Fredrik,

Which version of nRF Connect are you currently running? Which app are you using in nRF Connect? Have you set the pdk SW9 to VDD & the SW6 to default. Also, have you done any current measurements with the ppk? If you have cut the SB40, you will need to put a jumper on there.

Also, it could be that you need to upgrade the jlink interface MCU software. You can download it from here. Then, turn the pdk off, hold the IF BOOT/RESET button while turning the device back on. This should put the device in bootloader mode when looked at in Finder. Finally, just drag & drop the bin file into the bootloader folder. You might need to power cycle the board again.
