I am using five nRF52840 boards one for provisioner, one for client and rest for servers.
I am using Segger embedded studio for programming, mesh SDK v2.1.1.
The network is working fine I am able

RE: How to control a light from one server to another server in light switch example of BLE mesh SDK?

I am not sure I fully understand. I thought you just wanted to control the light from one server by pushing a button on another server. You can send messages to the group address to change the LED status of multiple servers. This is done by pressing button 3 or 4 on the client. Take a look at the button_event_handler function in the client example code. You can always update the button_event_handler function to do something different than it is doing at the moment.

RE: How to control a light from one server to another server in light switch example of BLE mesh SDK?

Hi Bjorn,

Thanks for the reply.

In my case in light switch example, when we are pressing button1 on client, it will control light on server1, now my doubt is will we able to relay the same control to server2 from server1 when we press buttton1 on the client board?

RE: How to control a light from one server to another server in light switch example of BLE mesh SDK?

Hi,

If you want to use the server to control another server, you will need to integrate the generic on off client model into the server example. You can take a look at the FW located here to see how this is done on the Nordic Thingy:52 board. Make sure to take a look at the Youtube video for instructions too. The FW is updated to work on mesh sdk v2.2.0. I would take a look at the FW & do similar changes to the light switch client & server FW to get this working on the dev kits.

Kind Regards,
