Sorry Navneet, I have never done that. If your phone can't see the device then it is not advertising. There are a group of three tutorials that are considered fundamental to bluetooth on this chip. The advertising one is here: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/tutorials/b/bluetooth-low-energy/posts/ble-advertising-a-beginners-tutorial. I followed this to get the device advertising.

Paul, I was trying to connect with Internet via Bluetooth. I am trying to connect my phone with the device so that I will have IP over BLE. But, my phone is not able to scan the devices.

I have BLE enable phone and I am using nrf BLE Joiner for scanning, I am trying to follow this tutorial.

It has bluetooth, I am not sure about wireless...

Hey Paul, so how do I communicate between them without an IP? Any ideas?

It does have a wireless adapter right? So, it should be able to connect with the network.

Hi Navneet,

I am not sure that the dk has an ip address over usb. Standard ubuntu is doing block device emulation for usb which is why when you plug it in it comes up as a mounted file system.
