After Uninstall/Reinstall of the Nordic Thingy App, we've been able to modify the motion frequency.

No, in the Thingy Android app, you can go to Configuration -> Advanced tab -> Motion Settings -> change the Motion interval.

Do you mean using the drv_mpu9250_write() function (from Thingy API) to change the data rate directly to the mpu9250 register ?

Hi,

You should be able to reduce the data rate in the thingy app itself. Have you tried this yet?
