Yes, but through that one proxy node, you can communicate with the whole mesh network. Also, you could have multiple proxy nodes if you want to have more GATT connections from a smartphone to the mesh.

First time I thougth that proxy feature is like proxy server on Internet. It manages communication between mobile phone and all ble mesh network so you access and see through it all mesh nodes (even with non proxy feature). But nordic implementation only enable see and access the only one node with proxy feature.

can u please share me documents understand the connection parameters, packet structure used during the advertisement, provisioning, connection, and the data transfer, publishing subscribing process with respect to the example application.

The proxy role enables a mesh node to talk to a regular ble device too. Since the nrf mesh app communicates over regular ble, you require the proxy functionality to be able to communicate between the smartphone and the mesh network.

ok thank you. but I have a question, What makes proxy_client/proxy_server different from server/client in the Light-Switch example.

You will need to use the light switch proxy client & proxy server examples to be able to provision via the nRF Mesh smartphone app.
