Hi,

The log shows that the sniffer is working, as it has picked up a lot of advertisement packets etc. Do you have a second nRF52832 DK that you want to sniff data from? If so you should select that device from the toolbar when it advertises (assuming it is a peripheral), before you connect and pair from the central. Then sniffer knows that it should follow that connection and can obtain the encryption key (assuming you use legacy pairing) so that it will be able to decrypt subsequent communication.

(If that is not the problem or doesn't help, then please describe your test setup and problem in detail).

Thank you for helping! I got it working. But I'm unable to find the packets sent & received by my nRF52832 DK. Please check my log file.

You should follow the instructions in nRF Sniffer User Guide v2.1, and then it should work out of the box with the nRF52832 DK. Just make sure to put the extcap files in the correct location as shown here, as this is not well described in the guide. Also the guide has not been updated for the latest release (2.0.0-beta-2), and the minimum Wireshark version is now 2.4.6 (see release_notes.txt in the zip distribution) so your version is too old.

I'm using nRF Sniffer v2 with Wireshark 2.4.2 and nRF52832 DK as mentioned in tutorial.

Hi,

Are you using the original nRF Sniffer or nRF Sniffer v2? The original nRF Sniffer works best with 1.10.x version of wireshark and have to be used with nRF51 DK or dongle (though there is unofficial firmware for nRF52832 DK here). nRF Sniffer v2 on the other hand requires Wireshark 2.4.6 or newer and works with the nRF52832 DK as well as the nRF51 DK or dongle (see release_notes.txt in the distribution zip for details).
