Segger Embedded Studio (SES) is available free of charge for all project where the target device is a Nordic semiconductor chip, so I recommend that unless you have a strong desire to use another toolchain.</p> <p>Everything you need to get started with nRF5 development using SES is described in the <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.gs.ses/dita/gs/developing/intro.html?cp=1_1_0">nRF5 Series: Developing with SEGGER Embedded Studio</a>.
