Yes, it was a faulty hardware which i was trying to connect. When i tried with different board ,it worked.Than.ks

I suggest to get a nRF52-DK, then you can verify if it's the j-link edu or your hardware (by for instance program the nRF52-DK through the debug in and/or program your board from the debug out on the nRF52-DK.)

Sorry for the late response, but I still could not figure out the connection. All the pins look good(SWD and SCLK esp) but it is not detecting nor showing any logs .

I don't believe it is the jlink edu. Make sure you have the latest nrf command line tools and nrfgo versions. Also double check the swdio/swclk pins. We have used the jlink edu with 832 custom boards so i know it works.

I don't believe swd uses rst but I could be wrong.
