&lt;p&gt;If you only see this with other devices, it would be useful if you could look into the BLE_GAP_EVT_DISCONNECTED event structure, and find the reason given there. &lt;p&gt;You should try the debug mode in Keil IDE and set a breakpoint in the &lt;code&gt;app_error_handler&lt;/code&gt; function present in the main.c file.
