Indeed.

It's an SiLabs product - so SiLabs are the ones to ask about it!

What Andrew is asking if the demo :/Bluegiga/ble-1.60-140/src/thermometer-demo listens and connects to any service or does it connect to known services only. Like Andrew mentioned, if the demo is filtering advertisements based on known services, then it will never send a connect request to Nordic Uart Service.

Also, this question should also be posted on the SiLabs forum as this is more relevant there.

I think it doesn't matter because with heart rate service nothing changes

It's called the Nordic UART Service because it is a proprietary service developed by Nordic themselves - for their own products.

Do Bluegiga provide support for this in their application?
