Hi,

Bluetooth mesh has a feature called "friendship" for optimizing the power consumption of low power nodes. You can read more about friendship and low-power nodes in this blog post.

For now, this Friendship feature is still not implemented in our Mesh SDK, but it is part of our release roadmap, so you can expect it to come out very soon.
