Our client is going on the project with capsense touch sensor.
They're wondering about if there is any reference design about it.
Any design guideline will be fine!

Thank you for your patience.

RE: nrf52832 Capsense Touch sensor Reference layout?

Hi,

If my understanding is correct, a pad that has approximately the same size as the finger will give the most accurate result. In any case, yes, you should test this for your intended application and your end-design.

Best regards,

If there is no reference design,
may I know if there is any suggestion size of the touch pad to use with?
Or what we can do is "try and error" for that right size?

RE: nrf52832 Capsense Touch sensor Reference layout?

Hi,

Nordic does not have any reference designs with capacitive touch sensors. We have a capacitive sense libraries in the SDK, and this guide that was written before it was added, that might be useful.
