Maybe it is a stupid question but I am completely lost,
I have a stm32f103c8tb that I have to use for programming a nrf51822, the thing is I have absolutely no idea how to connect them, if I need to flash the bootloader of the nrf51822

RE: stm32f103c8tb + nrf51822 connection and programming
what do you mean?
I mean exactly what I said!

I said: "you don't need to use an STM32 to do the programming" - note the emphasis.

Sure, it is possible to do it, but you not need to do it: there are other - and, I suggest, better - ways to do it.

Why not just use a J-Link (in particular, the J-Link on a Nordic board) ?

RE: stm32f103c8tb + nrf51822 connection and programming

what do you mean?

the guy uses the same items as I do.

RE: stm32f103c8tb + nrf51822 connection and programming
I Don't need to use the STM32 to programm it?
You certainly don't need to.

The more common approach would be to use a proper programmer.

RE: stm32f103c8tb + nrf51822 connection and programming

It is a project for a company, and this is what they already bought, the project started last year and I have to take it back with the existing items.

Or maybe you mean that I Don't need to use the STM32 to programm it?

the thing is I found an old topic where they say that i can use the STM32 to program it, so i thought it was the good solution

RE: stm32f103c8tb + nrf51822 connection and programming
I have a stm32f103c8tb that I have to use for programming a nrf51822
You would need to use an SWD programmer - such as the JLink
