My nrf51822QFAAH2 doesn't start, I mean that when i plug it, i can't see any Bluetooth device on my mobile detected, maybe I am missing a step, I don't know,
Here is my installation :

I followed this tutorial www.rogerclark.net/.../ to

RE: NRF51822GFAAH2 is not visible

Thank you for all your replies,

I solved the problem by buying a nrf51dk and now I can use it wuthout problem!

RE: NRF51822GFAAH2 is not visible

Unfortunately, I'm afraid I can't help you with flashing using the black magic probe. I don't have one here that I can use for test. My recommendation would be to get hold of a Nordic development kit. These have a on-board Segger debugger that support programming of external modules (must target nordic nRF5x ICs)

RE: NRF51822GFAAH2 is not visible

I am trying to flash it to enable Bluetooth, but the thing is I Always get the same error :

SW-DP scan failed, which mean that the nrf51822 is not detected by my black magic probe.

here is a picture of my setup :

I think it is well plug because in this tutorial this is how they say to do.

I'm not familiar with the arduino implementation, but you can try to program one of the .hex files from our SDK if you want to confirm that the module is working.

I'm including our Heart rate example here in case you want to try it. You can probably use the same steps you used to program the bootloader to program this hex file.

it seems to work, but normally even without the stm32 just pluging the nrf51822 on vcc and gnd I should see it in my Bluetooth devices ritght?

the thing is also that I can't upload a program with the Arduino IDE, I Always have the same error :

whereas the com6 exist and is plug, and it is the blink program in the examples.

RE: NRF51822GFAAH2 is not visible

Hi,

Did you program the bootloader and application as explained in the blog post you referenced? Not sure if these modules are pre-programmed or not.
