I am using a Thingy52 IoT sensor kit. The issue occurs even when I follow the steps with fresh code.

Hi,

This should't happen with the base example found in the SDK. Could you try downloading a fresh copy of the SDKs and try again? Which board are you using?

Hi. I am getting the exact same error. It is a NRF_ERROR_NO_MEM when the UART tries to initialize/advertise. This is the base version with no modifications so why does this occur?

Hi,

You should add the define DEBUG in your Preprocessor(Project -> Edit Options -> Preprocessor -> Preprocessor Definitions), then add a breakpoint on app_error_fault_handler() to see which error you get.
