Hello, what I wanted to do is to develop the software on the nrf52840 and then use a small board like the nrf52840 dongle and add a temperature sensor and battery. This way I could fit it in a small enclosure. I believe you've answered my questions and I could use the dongle to read some temperature value. Can you please confirm? Many Thanks

In what way(s), "like" ?

Please clarify "like" - what Arduino features, specifically, do you need?

What about the nRF52840 Dongle ? (you can cut the USB connection off if/when not required)

Have you tried googling, eg, "nRF52840 breakout"? Or just "nRF52840 Arduino"

Does it have to be nrF52840? There are lots of small boards based on nRF52832 ...
