This is because the Thingy:52 does not have a onboard debugger, USB is only for charging the Thingy:52.</p> <p>In order to connect the Thingy:52 with a nRF52-DK you need a <a href="https://www.adafruit.com/product/1675">10-pin cable.</a></p> <p>See&nbsp;<a href="https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/35364/nordic-thingy-52-nrf52840-dk/135974#135974">this post</a>&nbsp;on how to&nbsp;connect them together.
