I wonder how an ANT client should / would / could receive burst data. From what I'm read from the documentation, I guess that the received data will be passed to the application by multiple messages with the MESG_BURST_DATA_ID ID. Is this right

RE: ANT Burst Communication

Thanks you, that was the information that I was missing :-)

RE: ANT Burst Communication

The most significant bit of the sequence bits %100 is used as a flag to indicate the last packet in a Burst Transfer.

Sorry that I didn't made myself clear enough. I think the implementation of a burst sender is well documented what I didn't got so far, is how a receiver is properly implemented. I've edited my question to make my question more clear.

RE: ANT Burst Communication

On the device that is sending the burst, after a burst has finished, an event message will be sent to the host MCU. If the event message is EVENT_TRANSFER_TX_COMPLETED, then the burst was successful. If the event is EVENT_TRANSFER_TX_FAILED, then the burst was not successful. The host MCU should wait until it receives one of these event messages before trying to communicate further.
