I'm experiencing frequent crashes in the softdevice on an nrf52832, running SD version 6.0.0 with SDK 15.0. The crash seems to occur when interfacing to the device over BLE, however it is not consistent in terms of timing or what operation is being

RE: Periodic crash in Softdevice

Hi Kenneth,

Thanks for your reply. Based on your suggestion I was able to track the issue to a long running interrupt handler in part of our legacy code. Optimising that has resolved the issue.

Thanks again,

I will check with the softdevice developers if they may speculate, what I can see from the assert is that it seems to be related to control of a PA/LNA pin, and that the softdevice assert because it exceed the enabled timing of the PA/LNA pin. Maybe this will give you some clue on where to look? Maybe you are blocking interrupts for a period of time?

Best regards,
Kenneth
