That is correct. Before the connection the phone doesn't share any information about itself, mainly as a privacy concern. The phone should be able to scan for nearby advertisers without allowing itself to be tracked and logged by others.

Once you are connected it is possible to enable encryption, and share information safely without others being able to pick it up.

yes, we are developing a customer app for the phone.

So we can send the name of the phone only after the connection and not before, is this correct

Are you developing a custom app for the phone?

If so you should be able to read out various device information on the app side, and send it to the nRF52832 peripheral once a connection is established.

As an example of what information is available you can open the "Device information" screen in the Android version of nRF Connect.
