Hi Vidar,

I Installed java from oracle website: https://java.com/en/download/help/linux_x64_install.xml

It seems that it was the problem. I reinstall Java using apt and now it worked.

Hi Nik,

Seems like errors are not printed to the SES console, I tried to replicate this again on Ubuntu 18.04 running in VM and got the same output message even when I didn't have java installed. I installed java re through the package manager (sudo apt install default-jre). Are you using the same Java installation?

You may enable "Echo Build command lines" to see the command used to run the wizard.

Unfortunately, this is the only log output from SES:

To be exact, I'm running SES on Elementary OS 5.0 Juno, which is based on Ubuntu 18.04 x64.

Could it be an Incompatible OS problem?

Hello,

Sorry for the delayed response. I have not had any problems with the CMSIS Configuration wizard in Ubuntu 18.04 x64. The fact that you are able to run it from the command line indicates that it's not a java problem.

Please post the log output from SES when you open it, hopefully there is an error message.
