&lt;p&gt;the debug chip on the Rigado board is the same as on the nRF5 DKs so should be fully SW compatible.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Have you tried the &amp;quot;Recover&amp;quot; button from your screenshot?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am not really sure what they have put on the chip on the eval board, but if there is an application which have enabled readback protection, you must recover the chip before being able to use nRFgo Studio.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, check that all the switches on the Eval board are in the correct positions. I can&amp;#39;t say what the right positions are, because I am not familiar with it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the above doesn&amp;#39;t work, can you try with &lt;a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/eng/nordic/Products/nRF51822/nRF5x-Command-Line-Tools-Win32/33444"&gt;nrfjprog&lt;/a&gt;? (latest version).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When installed and added to your environment path, type &amp;quot;nrfjprog -e&amp;quot; in a cmd terminal. What does it print then?&lt;/p&gt;
