Alright, so it is unique to the product. How do i know if there is a bootloader in it?

That depends on whether the device manufacturer put a DFU bootloader on it. There is no default DFU solution in the device. We provide bootloaders and examples in our SDK, but it is up to the developers to put it into the devices.

We cannot provide support on 3rd party products, you will have to consult the manufacturer of the device for getting help with restoring the firmware.

it has no hardware ports, it is a gps smartwatch

i cannot find it while scanning and when i put the charging contacts on it ribrates until it runs out of power(i assume it is just sending power to all the components in the system)

hi, yes it is a product i bought yet shouldnt it be programmable with the dfu?

Hi,

Is this an end-product that you bought, or a product you have developed yourself? If it is an end-product, you should contact the manufacturer to get support. If this is i product you have developed, did you integrate a bootloader in the product? You should provide details on what SDK version you have used. How to put the device into DFU/bootloader mode is dependent on your firmware, and is something you should be able to figure out from the source code.

Does it advertise (do you see it when scanning with an LE-compatible Android for ex)? What if any hardware ports does the product have? What did the product do? Nordic supports many different DFU methods and each of the methods has multiple options.
