Any GPIO&nbsp;<em>can&nbsp;</em>be used for SPI interface on the nRF52 series, but it is not recommended to use the pins that is marked &quot;low&nbsp;frequency I/O only&quot; in the <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/en/DocLib/Content/Product_Spec/nRF52840/latest/pin?1066#pin_assign">pin assignment documentation</a>.&nbsp;</p> <p>Please make sure that you disable/move UART peripheral/NRF_LOG to other pins, as the <a href="https://www.nordicsemi.com/en/DocLib/Content/User_Guides/nrf52840_dk/latest/UG/nrf52840_DK/vir_com_port">UART interface by default is connected to GPIOs P0.05-P0.08 on th DK</a>.</p> <p>Best regards,<br />Jørgen</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
