Hi,

You technically need to connect these four pins:

SWDIO -> SWDIO

SWDCLK->SWDCLK

VDD_NRF->VTref

GND->GND

Note that this requires your external board to be powered.

Thanks. What pin should VTref go to? I'm looking but I can't find in my doc. Really sorry for being so lame.

Your J-Link supports SWD by default. Just select "SWD" under "Target Interface type" in your SES settings.

Hakon, would you know whether it is possible to flash my J-Link so that it would handle SWD?

As a separate consideration, I can tell you privately what my project consists of, if required.

Hi,

You should use SWD, not JTAG.

All nRF5-series devices only support the SWD interface
