We looking at open source toolkits, including Eclipse, so KiCad comes into picture.

There's no Pi network on the Reference Design, for example, and you obviously don't have a legal product too (in several senses of the word).

RE: kicad version of nRF51822 QFN48 reference design

Hi

In case you're still looking, I took the time to convert the Altium files to KiCAD for you.

You can find them here:

ludzinc.blogspot.com.au/.../nrf51822-qfn48-reference-design.html

Only catch is I'm runnign BZR 5228, which isn't backwards compatible. But you can find that version here:

http://kicad.nosoftware.cz/

RE: kicad version of nRF51822 QFN48 reference design

For software development with eclipse is here embeddedsoftdev.blogspot.ca/.../ehal-nrf51.html

RE: kicad version of nRF51822 QFN48 reference design

We currently only provide Altium and Gerber files to our customers.

There is a discussion in these blog posts about first exporting Altium files to P-CAD, and then import the P-CAD files to KiCAD:

ludzinc.blogspot.com.au/.../whats-all-this-kicad-stuff-anyhow.html

Is this something that would be interesting for you? To have access to P-CAD files instead of Altium files?

RE: kicad version of nRF51822 QFN48 reference design

I did design it for me.
