Goto project setting and check see if you set the target processor to cortex-m0. By default Eclipse create m3 project. Do a clean and recompile. Check also if you have the latest link software.

I break there, then Step Over but Eclipse gets frozen. I will try to debug the same project with Windows / Keil to see if I see the error.

The reset function is the ResetEntry. It shows in your 2nd print screen. Put a breakpoint at the beginning of that function to see if it breaks there. If it breaks then you can trace to see until when the exception occurred. There is currently not enough info to know what is wrong.

I retried your command line. It does work. Could you check your ld script to make sure the start address is at 0x16000. Were you able to breakpoint in the reset function ? I see that you are using my startup code. Make sure you use my linker script as. You cannot use that with Nordic ld script.

and i am able to discover the service through a OSX program, so I guess the soft device was not programmed

It looks like the soft device was not programmed. Were you able to set a break point in the reset function ?

Have you flash Softdevice SD7 in the chip ? If it is a BLE app, you need SD7 flash in first. It can be done using the nRFGo in Windows or this version on the MAC sourceforge.net/.../
